Not wishing to be pedantic, but the aircraft is in the colors of Ukraine, blue & yellow (nat'l flag, etc.), so not currently Soviet

Richard, while you are correct that this particular aircraft is in the Ukrainian colors, this aircraft was built by the Soviet Union in the early 80s - hence my comment.

UR-82073 is Ukrainian registration as well. While it was built in the Soviet era It was built in Ukraine.

The gravel lot is off the end of 18R. 18L terminates in a field before the loop road.
