I got a ride up front in one once when I happened to be the only passenger on a scheduled flight. Neat experience. Climb out @ 6,000 fpm.

Nice. Our C-9B (DC-9-30) would rotate to 15 degrees nose up after takeoff. 20 for the MD-80.
