Going to work with a Eurocopter Dolphin HH 65C at the US Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles, California USA. The B757 in the background is parked in front of one of American Airlines hangars at LAX. Photo taken at 07:39 on 29 October 2014. The unusual lighting was created by the early morning sun reflecting back at the helicopter from the hangar doors as it taxied out. Eurocopter calls it the Dauphin (think French royalty here)... our USCG's moniker is Dolphin. I've flown as a passenger on the civil variant, EC-155. Absolutely the smoothest and most vibration free helicopter flight ever. Much like flying on a fixed wing aircraft.
