McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (N950NS)
Parked on the ramp at Madras as a source of spare parts for Erickson Aero Tanker's fleet of MD-87 airtankers. Formerly with Ryan International Airlines doing charters for the United States Department of Justice. First delivered to Alaska Airlines as N950AS in 1991.

Is this the only one they have, the MD-83 for spares?
This was the only MD-83 they had on the ramp. There were also two MD-87s parked as well with this frame. My understanding is that one of the MD-87s will likely be converted into a air tanker.
