Embraer 170/175 (N873RW) - A Delta Connection E170 (N873RW) has just touched the nose gear tires down on KBUF's runway 5 concrete as it arrives at Buffalo Niagara International after diverting from its intended destination. The flight was enroute from John Glenn Columbus International (KCMH - Columbus, Ohio) to JFK in New York when it was diverted to Buffalo. I was unable to discover exactly why the flight was diverted; however, I was told that it was one of several flights diverted from JFK to other airports at around that time.

I was just advised (via e/m) that the diversions at JFK that day had been caused by poor WX conditions. TYVM for the info, M. H.
