Boeing C-135B Stratolifter (57-2589) - Boeing KC-135E Stratotanker 57-2589 Speckled Trout orbiting over the town of Boron, California during a test flight of the YAL-1A Airborne Laser on March 29, 2005. It was delivered as a KC-135A. It served as the personal transport of Commander in Chief of Pacific Air Forces. In March 2003 it was assigned as the personal transport of USAF Chief of Staff. It was reengined as a KC-135E in 1980s. It was retired in summer of 2008 and became a static ground trainer at Lackland AFB.
