"9V" is Singapore.
This plane was delivered as 9V-SQF for Singapore Airlines on June 27, 1977. After that, this plane passed N747 BJ of The Boeing Company, and transferred to PAN AM as N724PA in August 1984.
The paint scheme is unusual, with the Pan Am Blue cheat line beneath the windows like this. I've never seen that.
PAN AM of this time was trying to escape from management difficulties, and various color skims were given to the plane for image change. However, in the end, that effort also resulted in selling the Pacific Route to United Airlines without success.
