Thanks, Don. And yes, they were - as always! And I was totally unprepared to take that photo. The bird set down, kept the turbines running, and three minutes later was back in the air. I couldn't even figure out what they had done at the hospital.
So, the EXIF is 1/30", f/2.8, and believe it or not, shot with my 16-35mm wide-angle @ 35mm. Oh, and ISO 3200. Gotta love the full-frame sensor on the 5D! :)
