Boeing 737-800 (VH-VXH)

Awaiting take-off clearance on runway 05, daylight has just started to glow above the hills behind me (yellow reflection along the fuselage).

Definitely a 5 * capture. There aren't very many photogs who could snap a handheld very low light/no light shot of this fine Q, Gavin. Either they use a tripod and let the camera take the picture or they shoot handheld on AUTO and hope the camera can take the picture. Either way, they aren't taking the picture. Not only that, but there are only a few who would even be out during the predawn / nighttime / first light of dawn hours to even attempt a predawn / nighttime / first light of dawn shot. Too inconvenient and a lack of perfect conditions. So Bravos for being out there and Congrats on the click. (Tip of my cap)

Thank you sir. You can give yourself some kudos in this as it was your inspiration to try. For info it was taken with a 100-400 Tamron lens at 150 mm, on a Nikon D750 (full frame, you Canon man, you) 1/30 sec at f6.3, 800 ISO, and yes handheld.
