This crash of American Airlines Flight 331 happened at MKJP Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica, December 23, 2009, when the pilot overshot the runway.
This was not a new aircraft. It made it's first flight in 2001. FAA registration N1786B and delivered to American Airlines in December 2001.
