Boeing MD-11 (N272UP) - N272UP turning off runway 26L after a late afternoon arrival. About 15 minutes before this one came in, a Fedex MD-11 landed and with a combination of the heat distortion and bad camera settings on my part, (I have no idea what I was thinking with how I had my camera setup lol)the shots of that one were absolutely dreadful and immediately went into the recycle bin after coming off the camera. Luckily though I was able to get it together by the time this one landed.

Normally all of the heavy aircraft have to roll down at least one more taxiway before turning off, but this one was able to make this turnoff resulting in getting to see a pretty rare angle.

I am GREEN with envy. (Grin) I've NEVER caught a UPS tri. Plenty of FDX fleet tris but not even ONE UPS. Last Christmas, the rumor was that UPS would land a few here but it never happened. There was one that had been enroute from Hawaii but it diverted, and thus far, as best I know, there has still not been a UPS triple here. Five Big Congrats for this primo shot, Mark. ;-)

I saw one of these big guys flown by UPS from Castle Island in Boston on final, pretty low. Had to go around. I'm sure the crew practiced this, but I'll bet they were kind of busy for a minute or two.
