Mad Dog with slow gear door...Nice Gary!
I also wondered if it was just a slow door, but I caught this same aircraft about three weeks later and I noted that it closed last during THAT departure, too. Does that mean it is indeed a "slow closer" or is it just the last in the sequence?
Nice picture Gary!!
Uwe, my Thanks to you, my friend. And the same back to you. Your newest posts are, as always, super!

Having not been close to a DC-9 or Mad Dog gear swing in many years...they are SUPPOSED to close together, BUT- you don't often see them closing perfectly at the same time. Watch the left door closing here;

Hi Gary! We have a strandet dreamliner from Air India here.At monday the route was DEL to LHR. Squawk7700( emergency). Before AMS the plane turned back and arrived FRA. We think problems with the engines. Pictures will coming soon!!
Interesting vid, Dave. (Thanx for the link.) Seems to be the same thing I observed on this one, except that on this one the right door appeared to be fully closed before the left even started folding up. I guess it is a "slow closer" for sure. lol Thanks again for the info and vid link.
Uwe, very much looking forward to seeing your photo(s). Seems that the D-Liners are still suffering from a few bugs, eh?
Excellent sky shot, Gary! I like how you got the old livery with the nice blue sky in the background.
Probably a slow door actuator. Beautiful shot. I, too, have a few Allegiant's at my home airport KLEX, Lexington, Bluegrass Airport, but not like these.
electronicspro1 - I've seen this photo and can assure you 100% that if Gary uploads an aircraft photo to this site, it's one he snapped the shutter release on... and not one he's "borrowed"... i.e. - he actually took the photo and he owns it!
For pete's sake, if you're going to appropriate photos off the web and upload the same on FA's site, at least give the original photographer the proper credit and attribution they deserve for their work.
