Holey Mackeral! Just how low WAS that guy ? Great photo!
Outstanding capture made for a stunning photo of pilot skill in an excellent aircraft. Well done Ed; 5*
Nice shot!
Insanely cool photo . Could or does anyone know why the fire rings in the exhaust ?
Just another day at the office?
Not yet at tree top level!
Thank you Jeff, In short, they’re a display of brut force but I found this on the web: The pattern of evenly spaced rings sometimes visible in the exhaust of an engine is typically referred to as shock diamonds or Mach disks.
That fighter looks insanely low. Bold maneuver!
And well captured in your photo!
Yippeee!!
I can't take a none blurry Nascar race photo how did you do this.
Hi Steven, I had a good, slightly elevated position to start, my Sony A7iv camera settings were as follows: ISO 800, lens-560 mm, aperture ƒ8, and shutter speed 1/1250 s. This wasn’t the sharpest of focus, but I thought it was worth sharing. I could hardly keep up with him on departure. I certainly didn’t expect that bank so low.
