I like this one! I always loved the MD-80s, oops! I mean 717.they could have called it BD-80 ("Bad Dog 80"). 717 is almost an insult for craft type. If its a duck, then call it a duck. Good example is DC-10 to MD-11.That shows some respect, and rolls off the tongue, unlike "717."
BTW, isn't that climb out a bit steep! Some serious thrust, huh?

I agree with you, Michael, regarding the "rebranding" of the MD. Boeing had already produced a Model 717 (which is the C-135 family)!

I have heard of steep climbs out of Love Field. I've never done it. Aren't there some steep climbs out of New York airports, and some in California?
