Just curious if this is a realistic view or has the camera auto-corrected for the lighting. Seems the instrument lighting would cause some night blindness looking out the windscreens.

Robert, this is a real view taken with a Canon RF 15-35mm lens on a mirrorless SLR, and a slow shutter speed has slightly enhanced the cockpit lighting by maybe half a stop. The instrument lighting has no effect on the crew's ability to see what is an early morning sky. StaySafe - best Peter

Congratulation Peter; I was never able to take another photo than a Cloudy picture inside of my cockpit.. Good lesson!!

This is an excellent shot, Peter. I need to do some homework and practice more so I can adjust for differing light levels the way you have here. I suppose it helps to have subjects that are relatively still. I have been trying to get good shots of trains going by in lower light environment and it is challenging. Granted, I could stand to upgrade my camera! Great work! I just realized that you noted that you were using an SLR, so NOT digital, correct? I remember my old Ricoh KR-5 worked really well with low light shots, even when the subject was in motion.

Gosh. I thought it was a photo of a simulator... Just kidding.

Joseph, image on a Canon R5 digital SLR. Both pilots grainy out of focus also lo EV, and pilot in right hand seat slight movement. This image undoudedtly helped by having been taken in RAW - thanks for your comment - StaySafe, Peter

Ricky819, this is a Dassault Falcon 900EX - due to a glitch, FltAware published this as a D900. Glad you enjoyed the image, StaySafe - Peter
