Flight attendant saves passenger from human trafficking

Soumis

An organization training flight attendants to spot human trafficking victims is already making its mark. Former flight attendant Nancy Rivard founded Airline Ambassadors International, an organization focused on providing humanitarian services by leveraging connections with airlines. One of their main focuses is training airline workers to spot victims of human trafficking. (www.wbir.com) Plus d'info...

I suggest you familiarize yourself with human trafficking. A good place to start is DHS. https://www.dhs.gov/blue-campaign/awareness-training. The agency I work for has some pretty good training on human trafficking, and it is required annually.

Jim Murray An Alaska Airlines flight attendant’s instincts and quick thinking helped save a teenage victim from human trafficking on a plane headed to San Francisco in 2011, according to a new report from television station WTSP in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.http://ktla.com/2017/02/06/flight-attendant-used-secret-note-to-save-teen-from-human-trafficking/ I hate to think that race had anything to do about your opinion.

I would hate to think that you view flight attendants as just glorified waitstaff and their main priority is serving drinks and snacks. As a former flight attendant our main concern is the safety of passengers. We go through pretty thorough training in safety and security as well as first aid and at least in my airline annual recurrent training. It may not have been as rigorous as my training in the US Air Force, but it was someone close and that extra training did prove it's worth more often than not.

If you had read the article you would have noticed that there is an organization training flight attendants on what to look for. It works.
