I rarely fly 1000nm in a jet, sure as hell not doing it in a 172. For the price you can get a few partners and buy a Citation.
A $65,000 premium over the gasoline version? $65,000 buys a lot of 100LL.
It's neat but it's such a tiny, flimsy and not very capable thing yet costing ever so much money.

I would rather have a gas powered 172, anyway.
Not interested in a diesel airplane for the same reasons I don't have diesel pickups. Sign me up for the 100ll replacement.
I'd been wondering when deliveries of the 182-JTA would start. Guess the production line has yet to get rolling.
Though I think the JTA powered version of the 206 will become a big seller if the six cylinder version of this engine gets certified.
