I'd consider this. I live in a small market and connections are a way of life. Just as quick to connect through YYZ as it is through DTW, any NYC facility, or ORD for that matter.

I had the pleasure of flying Air Canada a few weeks ago. Short flight from YVR-YEG but I actually felt like I was treated as a first class passenger again.

Via mega - consolidation, our big 3 have gotten bloated. Incidentally, AC ranks above all 3 on world airline rankings. As the old addage says, "Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered" .
