Comments
Instructors at Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 (VMFAT-101) at KNKX use the T-34Cs to train new pilots prior to having those new pilots begin flying in F/A-18 Hornets. T-34Cs are also used as aerial spotter aircraft during training exercises.
Gary... thanks for sharing this photo capture with us! "Five ***** Stars"!!!
Hey, Cliff, wassup? TYVM. Got some of it attempting a 16R landing .. 16L was closed .. but it got hung up in the vortices of a departing UA 737 and got jounced around a LOT! Winds out of the west were a bit strong too, so after the roller coaster first attempt they swung east and landed on 25 which is on the other side of the airport so I didn't get it touching down. But the up-down-right flip-left flip first approach was pretty "interesting." I'll email a click of it to you.
Gary, you are most welcome and I sure enjoyed reading the "back story" on this particular aircraft spotting photo!!! I will be looking forward to seeing that "click" you spoke of!!!
Cliff ... Sent. Check your embox.
Thanks, Gary... I have it!!!
looks like an angry KLM :D nice shot
